Questions
Is my real mobile number really hidden?
Yes. People only ever see the number you share with them. Your mobile number is used to verify your account and is never shown to anyone you chat with — not even when you call.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Hellogram works in your phone’s or computer’s browser. You can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app and gets notifications.
Can anyone message or call me?
No. New people send a request first. Only after you accept can they chat, and calls can be turned off per number. You can block anyone at any time — they won’t be told.
What happens when I delete a number?
Its link stops working and its chats close for good. The code is never given to anyone else, so nobody can pretend to be you later.
Who can use Hellogram?
Anyone aged 18 or older with an Indian mobile number. You verify your number once when you sign up.
Is it really free?
Your first 2 numbers are free, with no time limit. Extra numbers cost ₹49 a month each (GST included), up to 5 in total.
